Description

SAIC is searching for a Test Engineer to develop test plans and scripts for manual testing a large web-based application in a team-oriented environment using agile development methodology .

Responsibilities:

• Document test plans, test scenarios and test scripts.
• Execute test scripts and fully document all defects.
• Work with development team to resolve defects .
• Interface with development team to understand requirements and improve SW test effectiveness.
• Actively participate in developing & improving existing testing scenarios and test cases .
• Work on multiple testing activities in parallel.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and 10 years or more experience; Masters and 8 years or more experience
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Knowledge of test processes and test case development
• Experience documenting test plans and test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and Java is a plus .
• Experience with automated test tools and script development .
• Experience in Agile development methodology .
• Knowledge of Java based development tools a plus.
• Ability to work with a diverse team – must be a team player.
• Keen attention to details and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills.
• 508 testing experience especially with Screen reader tools such as JAWS is a plus.

Target salary range: $80,001 – $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
