Shift Schedule: Night Shift, 8:00 pm – 5:00 am

Location: Metro Manila

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our QA efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing software features.
  • Lead the QA team in establishing best practices, testing standards, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing, and identify and document defects using tracking tools.
  • Automate test cases using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support in testing methodologies and tools.
  • Analyze test results and report on software quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging testing technologies to enhance QA processes.

What our Client is Looking For:

  • Need strong programming background using either Java or Javascript/Typescript.
  • With wide exposure to designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using standard automation tools and frameworks, preferably Playwright and Selenium
  • Playwright: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Playwright is required (manual testing
  • experience is acceptable for the rest)
  • Selenium: At least 4 years of experience is necessary if the candidate does not have Playwright experience
  • Expert with Software QA standards like creating test scenarios in BDD, triaging issues and bugs and how to properly raise them, organize and document important processes and workflows for the project and the team, and able to plan and execute different testing cycles like functional, end-to-end, integration, regression.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in CI/CD is required. Has a good understanding of CICD implementation with respect to test automation, i.e. how to build, execute, and analyze= automation server jobs and pipelines. Having experience setting up jobs and pipelines for the CICD implementation is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in API Testing is required. Needs to have background in executing and automating API tests, and helps with the setup of configurations (authentication of API calls, build requests, POC on exposed APIs that can be used) before testing.
  • Needs significant exposure to agile software development, how to manage tasks within sprints

and knows what to expect in dealing with the agile mindset.
