Position Overview
The Sales Account Executive will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and enhancing our U.S. market presence. The Sales Account Executive is responsible for revenue and profit growth required to maintain A & A Customs Brokers/Global Logistics goals and initiatives. You will be responsible for Hunting, Identifying, and establishing new business opportunities while developing and promoting our comprehensive services. Your goal will be to exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of our organization. This will be done by growing new customer relationships and offering customized freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and supply chain services including import, export, domestic storage, and movement of materials and products.
This is a hybrid position, balancing time between your home office and in the field meeting new prospects. You will report directly to the National Sales Manager. A car allowance will be provided to compensate for the travel, and an excellent TCP (total commission plan) is included in your compensation package.

Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
THIS IS A HUNTER ROLE! Thinking outside the box is critical and necessary for your success.
- Develop new business in the market and strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Must have the ability to successfully close new business transactions and achieve sales goals.
- Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, face-to-face cold calling, networking, trade shows, etc.
- Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge.
- Conducts Quarterly Business Reviews with the customer and maintains close/ongoing communication with customer operations to ensure expectations are satisfied.
- Maintain accurate records via our CRM of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within your assigned geo-territory, including the use of all internal company products to conduct professional business information.
- Define the optimal target accounts, analyze the sales arena, and use positioning strategies to define and exploit A & A’s unique value propositions.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of field sales and consultative sales background. Ocean and Air Export and Import experience is a bonus.
- Solid PC operational knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Provides timely and accurate 30/60/90 day forecasts for the respective territory including expenses, revenue, and new accounts.
- Enter information into our CRM of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Negotiate contracts, initiate orders, and pursue new business with grit, energy, and determination.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide prospective clients with personalized solutions for their marketplace needs.
- Positivity and adaptability in an ever-changing environment with shifting priorities.
- Must be self-motivated and possess excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of business acumen.
- Valid Driver’s License, maintain a clean vehicle and excellent driving record, and willingness to travel as required.
- This position may be located anywhere in the U.S., at the National Sales Manager’s discretion. ***Current open geo-territories are: SE region, Westcoast region, and Midwest region.***
Pay range: $80,000 to $90,000 + uncapped commission. Total Compensation can be up to $150,000! Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
