- Australia Aboriginal ancestry and a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and communities
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent skills and experience in project coordination and community engagement
- High-level organisation and time management skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience working with people at all levels, and from different backgrounds, both internal and external to the organisation
- Demonstrated experience in working with and/or managing cultural collections with personal and culturally sensitive material

About the Role
The Project Coordinator: Aboriginal Histories will work in collaboration with the Project Manager: UniSA History Project to advance the project (the digital scrapbook), which aims to showcase the success and achievements of UniSA and its journey and distinct culture. The position is responsible for the coordination, consultation and delivery of the Project’s bespoke Aboriginal histories component – in collaboration and consultation with the University’s Aboriginal Elders, staff, student and alumni community – to ensure representation by Aboriginal Peoples in the Project is self-determined, culturally and ethically appropriate, and properly recognised and celebrated.
