About Decarb.earth:

Decarb.earth is a groundbreaking digital platform that democratises access to carbon credits by empowering individuals and businesses to monetise the benefits of their renewable energy systems. We focus on high-impact projects, offering technology that allows users to generate verified carbon credits quickly and affordably. Our core values—accountability to colleagues, clients, stakeholders, and the planet; integrity through data-driven decisions and transparency; and reciprocity for sustainable outcomes—guide everything we do as we drive sustainable progress and widespread participation in the carbon credit market.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and confident Sales Executive to drive revenue growth and take full ownership of the sales process. In addition to securing sales, you will be responsible for managing post-transaction relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction, and serving as a continual touchpoint for clients. You will generate leads, follow up on prospects, and close sales deals both independently and in coordination with outsourced sales support. You will also relay key insights and challenges from the sales process and market dynamics directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Experience Officer (CXO) to help refine strategies and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively source and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, emails, and client meetings.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Manage and coordinate with outsourced SDRs to expand the sales pipeline and meet objectives.
  • Utilize CRM tools like HubSpot to monitor and track sales activities, ensuring timely follow-up and client engagement.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing the deal, while ensuring a high standard of client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a key touchpoint post-transaction, providing ongoing support, maintaining relationships, and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that client needs are continually met and that solutions are effectively implemented.
  • Regularly relay feedback, challenges, and insights from the sales process and market conditions to the CMO and CXO, helping to refine sales strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay informed on market trends in renewable energy, carbon credits, and sustainability to drive informed conversations with prospects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Increased sales conversions and revenue growth.
  • Effective management of outsourced SDRs to ensure target achievement.
  • Consistent and timely use of CRM for tracking sales activities.
  • High post-transaction client satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Insightful reporting of sales challenges and market trends to inform strategy refinement.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the renewable energy or carbon credit sectors.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, particularly HubSpot.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with outsourced sales teams, such as SDRs, to drive lead generation and conversion.
  • Excellent post-sales management and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate sales challenges and market insights to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales process.
  • Fluent in English (Native-level proficiency required).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the solar energy or sustainability industries.
  • Familiarity with carbon credit generation and trading.
  • Experience using sales analytics tools to optimise sales performance.

Why Join Us:

  • Be part of a mission-driven company committed to sustainable energy and carbon reduction.
  • Work in a dynamic and innovative environment with a talented and passionate team.
  • Competitive salary and commission structure.
  • Ability to work from anywhere in the world, with flexible hours.
  • Opportunity to make a significant impact on the global energy transition.
