Looking for an Operations Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Work with marketing operations and division marketing team members to drive consistent end-to-end marketing process improvements across the whole division marketing team from intake, creative (copy and design), deployment, analytics and optimization from a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly cycle
- Understand our stakeholders’ “customer journey” when engaging with division marketing team to ensure it is working well and optimized as our stakeholder needs evolve
- Able to translate process mapping and enable the capabilities into Workfront, our project management tool
- Leverage Workfront platform to enable processes and optimizations as well as create reports and dashboards
- Partner with analytics to improve our operational reporting
- Responsible for tracking, monitoring and optimizing marketing operations on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis; engage with practical process improvement framework to identify problem statement, root cause, counter measures, and solutions.
- Partner with division marketing team members to deliver operational efficiencies and KPIs such as; on-time delivery, accuracy, high-volume throughput and other efficiency metrics such as; resource capacity planning, tactic volume, etc.
- Partner with division marketing leadership on KPI leadership and Strategy Deployment frameworks
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENT –
- 2+ years experience with Workfront, our project management tool (hard requirement); ability to build reports and understand inner-workings of the tool
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years working in a marketing operations role in a fast-paced highly matrixed organization and working with a global organization
- A self-starter who can work both independently and with a team, be self-motivated and inspire the same in his cross-functional team members, be highly adaptable and flexible with an ability to change direction when needed and clearly communicate such change in a timely and transparent fashion inclusive of key change management principles.
- Must be a decisive and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, have excellent problem-solving skills, have strong business and budgeting acumen, and display calmness and composure under stress or uncertainty, inspiring the same in his team members and stakeholders
- Have an ability to effectively interact with and relate to peers on the team and across the business; have an ability to move and influence a group, moving the team into a common direction and with a common vision.
- Portray interest and skill in data analyses and insights that result from such analyses; must demonstrate an ability to improve a business’s marketing operations performance through seeking out opportunities and applying technical skills and directing the marketing department in the smooth shifting of gears between approaches and methods.
- Must be a team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills and able to talk with both technical and business colleagues
- Experience establishing and maintaining business processes, documentation, and training materials
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues inside and outside the organization
- Be able to convey business requirements to technical specifications
- Have a desire to drive innovation and new ways of thinking within the marketing technology stack.
Fully remote role – can sit anywhere within the U.S.
Exact Schedule – max 35hrs a week, flexible on hours and time zone, however, needs to be day shift.
Comments for Suppliers: I’m looking for an operations project manager for our divisional marketing team to help establish and train on processes that help our division work more cohesively and efficiently. This is a back-fill role to replace a technical worker – Workfront Admin. This person will need to have fluency in Workfront (our project management tool) but I want to expand the Product of the role to overall process versus just focusing on the tool itself.
