THE OPPORTUNITY
  
As a Client Services Officer your main duties and responsibilities include:  

  • Preparation and execution of terms of engagement, fee estimates and trust authorities
  • Preparation of annual checklist with accountants for advisory and compliance work
  • Liaising with clients to gather any outstanding documents.
  • Collation of information required for self-managed superannuation fund compliance work
  • Provide an update to clients, jobs and other information within the practice management software
  • Collate, PDF and upload year-end end information.
  • Provide requested information to Financial Institutions such as company extracts, copies of trust deeds, financial and tax returns.
  • Respond to ATO correspondence
  • Assistance with weekly invoicing
  • Help generate/collate standardised emails to clients in response to common client queries
  • Corporate secretarial duties such as incorporating new companies and trust via PantherCorp, ABN, TFN, GST, PAYG registrations.
  • Collating and corresponding with clients for Annual Company Statements.
  • Processing client invoices to accompany Annual Company Statement.
  • ASIC Debt Reminders and follow up procedure.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL NEED:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar client facing role
  • Ideally experience working in an accounting firm or professional services
  • Excellent ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
  • High level of written and verbal communication essential
  • Good team player that is capable of working with teams at all levels within the firm
  • Highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism
