Responsibilities
The product design team at Workato is a tight-knit, collaborative team with a relentless focus on building the best experience for our users. We work fast, are biased toward action, and aren’t afraid to fail. Above all, we believe that enterprise UX should have the same usability, reliability, and delight that we have come to expect from consumer apps. We seek experienced UX designers who know their craft and want to uplevel themselves. You’ll work with a passionate group of researchers, designers, product managers, front and backend engineers, QA and technical writers to see your features through from planning to implementation. You’ll use your full range of product, interaction, and visual design skills to see your vision through.
In this role, you will also be responsible to:
- Understanding the scope of requirements and question assumptions while working with the research team to better understand user behaviors and needs.
- Organizing and leading projects, ensuring stakeholders’ expectations are being addressed while keeping them aligned throughout the project.
- Translating ideas into viable, quality solutions using the appropriate tooling and fidelity based on the project’s state. This can range from low-fidelity drawings to detailed, precise specifications for the UI team.

- Choosing appropriate design patterns and have a strong justification for your choices.
- When needed, use tools like Figma or CodePen to prototype your ideas and test the micro-interactions in the product experience.
- Approaching your work with a system and scalability mindset. Always be curious to learn how a design can complement or conflict with other parts of the product.
- Writing clear, concise product copy for your projects.
