Project Construction Manager (Remote)

Based in Florida and working remotely, you will ensure adherence to our quality control standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities and coordinate schedules with the project team.
• Collaborate with site superintendents to identify effective construction methods and strategies, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Establish and maintain robust client relationships.
• Review project drawings and specifications, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Assist in preparing job estimates by interpreting bid documents.
• Develop necessary subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Establish and manage project schedules, ensuring the achievement of critical milestones.
• Supervise the submittal and RFI processes, ensuring timely reviews and approvals.
• Ensure financial success of projects by managing budgets and reporting on job costs and earnings.
• Collaborate with the project team to enhance production, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Monitor safety compliance and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Conduct regular site visits to coordinate with the project superintendent.
• Serve as the primary contact for the site superintendent and project teams.
• Attend project meetings to support coordination efforts.

Required Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experienced with construction procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Self-directed with the capability to work independently in remote environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and experienced with computerized construction management systems (e.g., Procore, Sage).
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (must be obtained within the first 60 days if not currently held).
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Compensation And Benefits

This full-time hybrid position offers a competitive salary range of (78,000 to )114,000, along with an annual bonus. You will dedicate approximately 70% of your time to internal planning, coordination, and administrative functions, with 30% allocated to on-site travel to oversee assigned projects. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
