Job Summary: Front End / Marketing Analytics developer
We are seeking an outstanding Marketing Analyst with Development skills and expert knowledge of Google Analytics to supplement our groundbreaking international arts marketing team, by assisting them with actionable data points, analysis, and optimisation recommendations and implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with a deep understanding of JavaScript, and experience working with marketing tools and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end and marketing integration for our planetarium shows
- Maintain and improving the connection between our ads, ticketing platform and reporting tool
- Implement and optimize marketing tools and integrations, using Google Tag Manager
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that enhance user experience and drive business growth
- Proactively identify data trends such as conversion rates and click-through rates, and make actionable recommendations to improve performance, collaborating closely with the rest of the team to implement data-driven solutions.
- Enhance our data collection to improve the the analysis and reporting on key performance metrics using analytics tools
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and industry trends to optimise this platform
- Integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Marketing or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development (especially using APIs for data retrieval and reporting)
- 3+ years of experience integrating advertising, marketing & analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Social Media advertising tools such as Google Ads, Meta, Tiktok)
- Strong proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (such as Svelte, React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Knowledge of web performance optimization/CRO techniques
- Understanding of SEO best practices and accessibility standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS such as WordPress)
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
- Understanding of agile development methodologies
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to visual details, with the ability to apply design principles in web development to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
- Familiarity with user experience design software such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch, and the ability to translate design concepts into functional website features.
- Comfortable using graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to create and manipulate visual elements on the web.
- Skilled in crafting interfaces that provide an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices, emphasizing responsive and adaptive design.
- Ability to think outside the box with creative problem-solving skills, designing solutions that enhance user engagement and conversion rate while improving the overall aesthetics of digital projects.
