Our client, a pioneer in the solar PV sector, operates across Spain, Portugal, and Italy, actively developing projects that make a meaningful environmental and social impact.
About the Role:
As the Head of Revenue, you’ll play a central role in shaping and driving the revenue strategy. Working with key teams, you’ll manage PPAs, lead energy sales contract negotiations, monitor energy markets, and pursue new revenue opportunities. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a passion for renewable energy and a strong commercial background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Energy Trading & Strategy: Develop and execute a robust energy trading strategy, maximising profitability while managing risk.
- Revenue Optimisation: Identify revenue-generating opportunities across energy sales channels, leveraging market data and regulatory insights.
- PPA and Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for PPAs and energy sales contracts, ensuring optimal terms and compliance.
- Commercial Strategy: Design innovative commercial strategies that align with the company’s sustainability goals.
- Market Analysis & Business Development: Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and pursue new revenue streams and client relationships.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a high-performing team, collaborating across functions to implement the commercial vision.
Key Skills:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in revenue and commercial strategy within the renewable energy, utilities, or energy trading sectors.
- PPA Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in structuring and managing PPAs and complex energy sales contracts.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to turn market insights into actionable strategies that drive growth.
- Leadership: Proven success leading teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Languages: Fluency in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
