Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Requirements Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for new products, functionalities for the exchange and the blockchain
• Work closely with product managers to define product objectives and translate them into actionable insights and product requirements.
• Conduct competitive analysis, identify market trends, user demands, and potential product differentiators.
• Develop and prioritize product roadmaps, features, and user stories, ensuring alignment with business strategy and user needs.

Data Analysis and Insights

• Analyze user behavior data and trading patterns to identify areas for product improvement and to anticipate future user needs.
• Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to present insights to product managers, development teams, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis on trading volumes, revenue generated from fees, and user activity to drive data-backed decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with business development, legal, compliance, risk, and operations teams to ensure all aspects of product functionality are compliant with regulatory standards and optimized for performance.
• Facilitate communication and bridge gaps between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring product requirements are clearly understood and executed.
• Act as a liaison between the product team and external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, market analysts, and financial partners.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop a user-centered product interface, gathering user feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that new features meet functional requirements and offer a seamless user experience.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure that the exchange platform meets AML, KYC, and other regulatory requirements, implementing adjustments as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes in the crypto space, evaluating their impact on the exchange and proposing necessary product adjustments.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the crypto exchange product, including user growth, transaction volumes, customer retention, and revenue.
• Develop regular reports on product performance, user feedback, and competitive analysis, presenting insights to senior leadership and suggesting actionable improvements.
• Use analytics to identify bottlenecks in the product flow, proposing solutions to improve efficiency, reduce friction, and enhance user satisfaction.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets and trading, including knowledge of crypto exchange operations, product functionalities, and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical skills: Proficient in data analysis, with experience using atleast one of the following SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools is a plus(e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Trello.
• Familiarity with compliance and risk management related to crypto exchanges, including AML, KYC, and CFT standards.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively bridge technical and non-technical teams, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
