The customer is a technology start-up that helps its customers operationalize their customer identity data. In September 2021, the company raised a seed round of $6.5M to prove out an MVP. The company aims to provide customers with accurate, accessible, and actionable consumer identity data in real time.

Project Description

The project is a sophisticated indexing system powered by machine learning, which improves the reliability and value of existing consumer identity sources while lowering their long-term costs. The task will be collaborating closely with the leaders to define the strategies around service-oriented architecture, programming language selection, API design, deployment strategies, and other critical software design decisions for the enterprise customers.

What You’ll Do

• Assess the customers’ existing technology and system-level designs to determine where the technology can best improve their business;
• Design and build scalable web services to support ingestion and processing of data between customer systems of record and consumer touchpoints;
• Design and implement APIs that will be easy to understand and use for both internal and external consumers;
• Reverse engineer existing customer technical solutions and help them implement improvements needed to support deployment of the product;
• Own the deployment and operation of the services you build all the way through to production;
• Collaborate with other members of the Product engineering team;
• Assist with the evaluation and selection of technologies to support the clients’ needs;
• Leverage Agile processes & practices to quickly and efficiently deliver value to the clients;

Job Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial experience;
• Experience with modern J2EE frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot);
• Experience with test automation frameworks;
• Experience working with relational DB, NoSQL DB, and message queues;
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures;
• Experience with a CI/CD environment;
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker;
• Level of English – from Intermediate (spoken/written);
