[Note] Candidates based in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Dallas are eligible for a contract extension, depending on the company’s project needs and performance, and would be required to work in a hybrid office setting.
We’re looking for a UX Content Strategist for our Product Design team to help our in store associates manage and engage with our or organization including view and manage their schedules, track completion of important trainings, and engage with other associates and leadership.
Responsibilities
As a Content Strategist you’ll be responsible for crafting the key architectural and navigational text that customers encounter. You’ll work across all aspects of the product cycle, including user research, collaborative ideation, content strategy, content mapping, prototyping, and testing.
â–ª Working with product designers to inform site mapping and content hierarchy
â–ª Designing information architecture, navigation, and content matrix recommendations
â–ª Devise and implement a UX content strategy that takes into consideration both the macro and micro content needs of our associate digital experience
â–ª Work with multi-disciplinary teams, partnering with product designers, engineering, and product management (among other stakeholders) to find solutions to deliver value to users
â–ª Independently manage deadlines
â–ª Keep the end user, our associates, in mind at all stages of the process
Requirements
â–ª 4+ years of experience working as a Content Strategist and/or information architect
Strong understanding of experience principles and customer needs such as motivations and behaviors, with the ability to translate them into engaging and actionable deliverables
â–ª Excellent verbal and written skills to be able to communicate both technical and non-technical savvy audience members
â–ª Experience working across platforms and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) and building full content strategy eco-systems across digital platforms
â–ª Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with little supervision
â–ª Experience presenting to, and working with, cross-disciplinary teams
â–ª Experience working in an agile and/or lean environment
â–ª Has a startup mentality and is comfortable working in ambiguity
