We need a proactive leader with a “wizard-like” ability to adapt quickly, innovate, and drive powerful results in a challenging, fast-paced environment. This role is critical to revitalizing our brand, reshaping our user acquisition strategies, and reigniting our marketing impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Development: Lead the creation and execution of a compelling content strategy that drives brand engagement and positions Eventcombo as an industry thought leader. Oversee the production of high-quality, SEO-optimized content, including blogs, case studies, videos, and social media posts, to engage users and build authority in the event management space.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with industry influencers, organizations, and media outlets to amplify Eventcombo’s reach. Establish co-marketing initiatives and collaborate on content, events, and campaigns that drive user acquisition and enhance brand credibility.
- Campaign Creation & Execution: Design and manage innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences and boost brand visibility. Coordinate efforts across digital ads, email marketing, social media, and influencer collaborations to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging throughout each campaign.
- Organic Lead Generation: Devise and implement effective content and inbound marketing strategies to grow Eventcombo’s organic leads. Prioritize SEO-optimized content, partnerships, and targeted outreach to establish sustainable, high-quality traffic sources that convert to loyal customers.
- Turnaround Growth Strategy: Design and implement bold, innovative marketing strategies aligned with urgent business goals. Emphasize high-growth acquisition targets and swift brand repositioning.
- Increasing Intent-Based Traffic: Develop and optimize strategies to attract high-intent visitors who are more likely to convert. Focus on aligning keywords, content, and campaigns with user search intent, leveraging SEO, PPC, and retargeting tactics to capture engaged traffic and increase conversion rates.
- AI-Driven Marketing Innovation: Leverage accessible AI tools, to enhance marketing strategies and content creation. Use these tools for data insights, trend analysis, and efficient campaign optimization, ensuring impactful results.
- Digital Marketing Innovation: Lead all digital marketing efforts—across SEO, SEM, social media, and email—while rapidly enhancing our visibility and engagement.
- High-Stakes Performance Analytics: Implement advanced analytics to monitor and dramatically improve marketing performance. Execute A/B tests, refine campaigns, and ensure immediate gains in efficiency and ROI.
- PPC Lead Generation: Collaborate closely with the in-house PPC expert to guide and refine high-impact pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns across search engines and social media. Provide strategic oversight on bidding, targeting, and ad placements to ensure alignment with broader acquisition goals and to maximize ROI.
- Brand Reinvigoration: Re-envision and powerfully communicate Eventcombo’s brand story through compelling campaigns and strategies, re-establishing the brand as a leader in the event management industry.
- Fast-Impact Campaign Management: Plan and drive integrated marketing campaigns across all touchpoints, including digital ads, content marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships, with immediate impact goals.
- Team Empowerment & Development: Rapidly build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a data-driven and results-oriented culture.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to execute cohesive, cross-functional go-to-market strategies aligned with urgent goals.
- Resource Optimization: Oversee budgets with precision to maximize ROI and ensure optimal resource allocation in all initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in marketing, with proven expertise in turnaround or high-growth environments. Background in fast-growing SaaS or event tech companies is advantageous.
- High-Level Technical Skills: Proficient in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, social media management, content marketing, and email marketing tools.
- Innovative & Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated track record of high-impact campaigns and adaptive strategies in rapidly changing markets.
- Analytical & Visionary Leader: Ability to harness data-driven insights to fuel quick, strategic decisions paired with a creative approach to drive compelling marketing initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
