Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Events Manager to spearhead our dynamic event initiatives remotely. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic leadership, manage financial resources, and oversee the comprehensive planning and execution of a diverse array of events designed to elevate our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of large-scale events, ensuring that each aspect contributes to impactful experiences for both internal and external stakeholders. Key events include our annual User’s Conference (300-500 attendees), the Super User Academy (up to 30 attendees, with 4 sessions annually), and over 15 marketing events per year.
  • Formulate and oversee event budgets, closely monitoring expenditures, addressing variances, and negotiating with vendors to optimize available resources.
  • Foster robust relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and key partners to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration throughout the event planning process.
  • Manage all logistical elements for events, including setup, team coordination, accommodation and travel arrangements, vendor collaboration, inventory management, and material preparation to ensure flawless execution.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the annual User’s Conference, coordinating with various departments (e.g., Customer Success, Inside Sales, Marketing) and external event planning agencies on all production elements.
  • Execute RFPs, assess vendor proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure high-quality services that align with our event goals.
  • Craft and present detailed reports and updates to leadership, including project proposals, event status updates, and post-event evaluations.
  • Drive the development of event branding, concepts, and promotional materials in partnership with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring cohesive visual representation across all event components.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of specialized experience in corporate event planning, project management, and leading programs.
  • PMP or CMP certification is desirable.
