JOB DESCRIPTION

Come work at iDream Interactive, where you can help build new software solutions! As a Project Manager, you will work with a cross-functional team of talented developers and designers. Our work is technically challenging and also incredibly rewarding.

Your primary role will be software development Project Management. Your responsibilities will include managing clients and their software development requirements. You must translate those requirements into Jira Software and Miro whiteboard to effectively communicate those needs to our development team. Clear and constant communication with our clients is the #1 priority, as you will be representing iDream Interactive. You will need to understand every aspect of the software solution we are creating.

Your secondary responsibilities will include being the Product Owner of new internal projects we are developing. This will involve working in small groups to flesh out product requirement documents and visualizations.

* Work from home from anywhere within Ontario, Canada.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

– They will be responsible for meeting with clients to understand their needs better.
– They will record all pertinent client information into Jira tickets or Miro whiteboards.
– They are well-versed in Agile and Kanban methodologies.
– They will be responsible for team sprint planning estimations.
– They will be reporting directly to the COO to ensure information flows up.
– They will have open and honest communication with co-workers.
– They will lead retrospective meetings and provide feedback to co-workers.
– They will provide monthly project status reports to our leadership team.
– They will drive internal product ownership.

REQUIREMENTS

– 2+ years of experience working as a dedicated software development project manager.
– Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
– Excellent attention to detail.
– Self-motivation, team orientation, and a passion for keeping projects on track.
– Proficient in Jira Software, Slack, Google Workspace Suite and Miro whiteboards.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience writing Product Requirements Documents.
– Experience creating UX/UI wireframes.
– Experience with software development best practices.
