About the Role:

The Demand and Inventory Manager is responsible for the development, implementing and maintenance of a contemporary, flexible and agile enterprise demand and inventory management framework. This includes end to end demand management and warehouse distribution that, when executed, will deliver the material availability target at the least total annual cost. It is essential that this role has extremely tight collaboration with maintenance and engineering functions. Leadership of stock code and MRP master data is critical in achieving the optimisation requirements.   

About You:

• Degree level qualification in business, finance, procurement, supply chain, engineering or related discipline and/or significant work experience within the procurement and supply chain profession
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role with exposure to developing and implementing demand and supply functionality within a medium size asset network. Experience in DRP/MRP functionality including demand and forecasting tools.
• Experience in the implementation of optimisation planning tools. Advanced Excel skills would be highly desirable 
• Experience leading the development and implementation of demand and supply planning processes, including third-party logistics providers.
• Experience managing capacity modelling and material forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with service level agreements.
• Experience developing and implementing inventory management strategies for in-house and third-party logistics providers.
• Experience maintaining demand forecasts in collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.
• Experience analysing demand patterns and delivering reports with actionable improvement recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with digital and information teams to optimise and implement supply chain systems, including ERP.

Management Experience

• 1-2 years experience leading and mentoring a small team of logistics personnel is desirable, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and fostering a collaborative and high performance team culture.
