Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of project management activities for IT security initiatives, system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, while championing continual improvement efforts.
• Facilitate and guide working groups with stakeholders from diverse departments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical architects, engineers, and consultants, to ensure the achievement of project milestones.
• Manage the project lifecycle from initiation through closure, encompassing scoping, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Act as a liaison between internal customers and teams to ensure project requirements are clearly articulated and expectations are aligned.
• Develop and uphold comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
• Coordinate resource allocation to guarantee teams are adequately staffed to meet project objectives within specified timelines and budgets.
• Proactively oversee project risks and challenges by identifying potential roadblocks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure project deliverables adhere to compliance and security standards, particularly CMMC, DFARS, and NIST 800-171.
• Cultivate robust client relationships and maintain consistent communication regarding project progress, challenges, and successes.
• Facilitate project-related meetings, including daily stand-ups, stakeholder reviews, and post-project retrospectives.
• Effectively communicate enterprise project initiatives and statuses to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects, ideally within cloud environments or utilizing Microsoft solutions.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (CMMC, DFARS, NIST 800-171) is strongly desired.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
• Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar software.
• Experience with ServiceNow SPM is preferred.
