We are in search of a highly skilled Head of Social Media to spearhead and refine our social media initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will enhance our brand visibility, foster community engagement, and contribute to our growth strategy across multiple platforms. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding our social media team to implement best practices, remain at the forefront of industry trends, and ensure alignment with our overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute effective social media strategies across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, ensuring coherence with broader marketing and business goals.
- Supervise the development, curation, and scheduling of captivating, on-brand content that maintains consistency in style, tone, and quality.
- Inspire and mentor a team of social media managers and content creators, fostering their professional development and goal achievement.
- Employ a data-driven approach to monitor, evaluate, and report on social media performance, using insights to refine strategies, enhance engagement, and expand our reach.
- Design approaches to connect with our audience and cultivate enduring relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee consistent messaging throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement crisis management protocols for social media, responding effectively and strategically to any arising challenges.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media, continuously seeking opportunities to elevate our presence.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (an advanced degree is advantageous).
- Over 6 years of experience in social media management, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in conceptualizing and executing impactful social media campaigns.
- Strong expertise in social media analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities to motivate and guide a team.
- A creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
