High Five is partnering with Singapore based B2B tech company that delivers AI enabled workplace analytics platforms.

Job Descriptions :

System Observability:

• Develop and implement observability solutions to monitor system health, performance, and usage.
• Leverage tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog to build dashboards, alerts, and detailed logging for full system visibility.

Performance Analysis and Optimization:

• Perform in-depth performance analysis, identifying bottlenecks, optimizing resource usage, and improving system efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance the scalability and reliability of backend services.

Development Cycle Automation:

• Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment and testing.
• Integrate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management.

System Management and Reliability:

• Oversee and maintain system reliability, availability, and resilience, minimizing downtime and system interruptions.
• Proactively monitor system metrics and respond to incidents with effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:

• Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to improve application reliability and implement best practices.
• Document procedures, best practices, and findings to enhance team efficiency and knowledge.

Requirements :

• Experience: 4-5 years of experience in software systems management and backend development.
• Backend Development: Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Go) with experience building scalable backend services.
• System Observability: Demonstrated expertise in setting up observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
• Performance Analysis: Skilled in system performance analysis and tuning for high-performance applications.
• Automation: Proven experience in automating development processes and infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools.
• System Management: Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and experience managing production environments.

Preferred skills :

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (prefer AWS or Azure) and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
