Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
- Lead resource teams focused on environmental studies and the preparation of permit applications, with an emphasis on FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documentation.
- Liaise with federal, state, and local regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and facilitate project approvals.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
- Engage with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings, effectively communicating project goals and progress.
- Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting to ensure timely completion of objectives.
- Participate in business development initiatives and represent the company at industry conferences.
- Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to maintain project integrity.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations along with federal environmental regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting specifically related to pipeline projects.
- Professional certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
