We are actively seeking an accomplished Senior Technical Project Manager with IRS MBI Clearance to join our dynamic IT department. This remote opportunity allows you to lead a skilled team in driving technology projects that align with both corporate goals and client needs, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technology projects that support corporate transformation and daily operational functions.
• Direct the planning and execution of small to medium-sized projects, collaborating with larger project management teams as necessary.
• Foster engagement with IT engineering resources and stakeholders to enhance transparency and participation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to client-approved timelines while encouraging team efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, project managers, business stakeholders, and external clients.
• Coordinate daily activities among internal and vendor-managed project teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Collaborate with various functional and technical teams for successful project implementations.
• Conduct quality assurance on project deliverables to maintain high standards.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to the Project Management Office (PMO) and other relevant stakeholders.
• Manage documentation related to all project phases, including plans, procedures, systems design documents, and risk management strategies.
• Monitor and track project performance, implementing corrective actions to keep projects on budget and schedule while meeting quality expectations.
• Apply Project Management (PM) and Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies to guide project execution.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneNote.
• Familiarity with various methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, PMP, and/or ITIL v4.
• Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven leadership experience in managing technical projects across diverse technology environments (Windows, Unix, Linux, Solaris).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience.
• PMP or CSM certification is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage processes effectively, with a keen focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining profitability.
