Hachette Australia is seeking a full-time Publicist to join their Publicity team. This role is based in Sydney, and reports to the Group Communications Manager.

About the role

Hachette Australia is seeking a Publicist to work on campaigns across all imprints as a member of our high-performing and collaborative Publicity department. This is a full-time permanent position based in Sydney. The publicist will report to the Group Communications Manager and will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating publicity campaigns for local (Australian-originated) titles, and selected international books.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience with all forms of promotional channels, be passionate about books and the media landscape, and be able to develop and manage creative campaigns to ensure that our books and authors benefit from maximum exposure. They will have excellent time management skills and possess a collaborative attitude.
