We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst in the Financial Services sector in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and IT capabilities, ensuring the successful implementation of innovative solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop strategies that drive business improvements and support our growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories.
– Conduct thorough analyses of business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
– Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide development teams in implementing solutions.
– Utilize data analytics to derive insights and support decision-making processes.
– Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and validate requirements.
– Assist in the design and development of new business processes and systems, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
– Monitor project progress, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
– Prepare and present reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
– Work closely with IT teams to ensure successful deployment of solutions and user training.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
– Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Financial Services or Banking industry.
– Proven experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
– Proficient in business analysis tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks.
– Familiarity with financial products, services, and regulatory frameworks in the banking sector.
– Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
