Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
- Lead teams in conducting environmental studies and managing permit applications, including FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documents.
- Liaise with federal, state, and local regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment with environmental standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts.
- Communicate proactively with public stakeholders during hearings and meetings.
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting with precision.
- Participate in business development and represent the company at industry conferences.
- Conduct field reviews and ensure compliance through inspections.
Required Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental legislation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to project management.
- Familiarity with MS Project, Teams, and MS Dynamics for effective reporting and tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in environmental licensing and permitting within the pipeline sector.
- Proven expertise in managing both small to mid-sized projects ((25k to )100k) and larger projects exceeding $500k.
