As a Sr. Associate Software Developer in the Customer Intelligence Division at SAS, you will join a team of talented engineers working collaboratively to deliver leading edge, innovative digital marketing solutions.

As a Sr. Associate Software Developer, you will:
- Design and develop high quality, testable and scalable software solutions within established timelines while adhering to Customer Intelligence 360 best practices and processes.
- Implement scalable and efficient code, ensuring seamless integration within a continuous delivery pipeline.
- Ensure the security and performance of software throughout the development and deployment process.
- Address production issues, provide quick resolutions, and prioritize customer experience in all development efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, product, operations, and support, to ensure high-quality software delivery and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accountability for the entire life cycle of the code.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience developing enterprise-level solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrable experience with the Java programming language
- Solid understanding and experience with JSON and RESTful APIs
- An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, or similar cloud offerings
- Thorough knowledge of additional AWS services (Kafka, Lambda, ECR/ECS, SQS, SNS, OpenSearch, Redis, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Familiarity with microservices
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Demonstrative test automation experience
- Experience building DevOps-enabled software solutions
- Experience with container management systems, such as Kubernetes
- Usage of Git, GitHub, GitLab, and/or Jenkins
- Experience with the Python programming language
