Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA/QC Officer to join our dynamic team in the energy sector. This role is critical in ensuring that our projects meet the highest quality standards and comply with all regulatory and safety requirements. You will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes, leading audits, and implementing best practices to enhance the quality of our services and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and control strategies for projects in the energy sector.
– Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
– Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and procedures, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
– Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to quality control processes, including reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
– Collaborate closely with managers and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all phases of project execution.
– Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives in response to quality failures or non-conformances.
– Train and mentor junior QA/QC staff and project teams on quality management principles and practices.
– Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on quality performance and initiatives.
– Participate in project meetings to promote a quality and continuous improvement culture across the organization.
– Must be able to develop and implement policies and procedures in accordance with company standards and ISO.

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; a relevant certification (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor) is a plus.
– Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance and control within the energy sector or a similar industry.
– Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), quality control methodologies, and relevant regulatory standards.
– Proven experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and leading quality improvement initiatives.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
– Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
– Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
– Work experience as QA in a logistics company/industry is a plus.
