ELECTRICAL ENGINEER I Fire Protection

We are seeking a motivated Firefighting Engineer with Experience in Firefighting and fire Alarm Systems to join our team and play a crucial role in the installation, testing, and commissioning of firefighting and fire alarm systems. The engineer will be responsible for reviewing and designing firefighting and fire alarm systems and ensuring their functionality and reliability in accordance with Dubai Civil Defense standards and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing and commissioning activities for MEP firefighting system & fire alarm systems by project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and Preparation of Method Statement for Fire Fighting System, Fire Alarm & Emergency Light systems.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning process, ensuring all systems meet safety and performance standards.
• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with relevant codes (NFPA), standards, and Local regulations.
• Develop and implement testing procedures and protocols for firefighting systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful installation and integration of fire suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during testing and commissioning.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports on system performance and compliance.
• Apply expertise in fire protection engineering principles to ensure compliance with codes (NFPA), standards, and Local regulations.
• Working alongside other members as a team and providing advice best suited to the project and the Client.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in ELECTRICAL Engineering or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in testing & commissioning and work activities related to firefighting and fire alarm.
• Strong knowledge of Sharjah and Dubai fire safety codes and standards (NFPA, FM Global, etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of design, installation, testing, commissioning and handing over of firefighting, fire alarm, and emergency lighting systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools(must).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Design review & material submittal of FF & F/A System.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
