Cloud Systems Engineer (Remote)

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our IT consulting team in Horsham, Pennsylvania. As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will be tasked with automating infrastructure, improving engineering platforms, and providing technical guidance. You will also be responsible for improving site reliability, ensuring compliance with security policies, and providing on-call IT operational support.

Responsibilities

Automate infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Upgrade the engineering platform and the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipeline, utilizing technologies such as Azure PaaS, Kubernetes/Docker containers, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus, and more.
Architect automated solutions to address manual or inefficient processes and procedures.
Provide escalated technical guidance and support to other technology teams within the organization.
Enhance site reliability by implementing detailed telemetry based on leading and trailing indicators.
Ensure that all solutions and operational activities comply with the organization’s security and operating policies.
Identify and implement improvements to service delivery or the health of the environment through process improvement and the continual development of documentation and runbooks.
Provide on-call coverage for IT operational support and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required.
Familiarity with Citrix Technologies is essential.
Demonstrable experience with Cloud Technologies is necessary.
Proficiency in DELL EMC Technologies is expected.
Familiarity with Dell Technologies is required.
Proven skills in AB Testing are essential.
Working knowledge of Active Directory is necessary.
Demonstrable experience in Automation is required.
Proficiency in AWS Technologies is expected.
Expertise in Backup Technologies is essential.
