The Opportunity
Highly awarded and respected within the creative services industry, our client is a pioneering, dynamic company partnering with some of Australia’s largest companies. An opportunity has arisen for a Credit professional to come in and lead their Credit function! 

This role is well-suited to an individual with strong experience in Collections/Credit looking for their next challenge. Prior experience with XERO or digital companies will be valued. 

The Challenge
Reporting into the CFO, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyze account data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of concern.
• Ensure all collection activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, staying informed of any changes in the legal landscape. Coordinate with internal departments, such as finance and operations, as well as external agencies, to resolve account issues.
• Contact overdue account holders to facilitate payment of outstanding debts.
• Negotiate payment plans, settlements, and other arrangements to secure payment while maintaining positive customer relations.
• Regularly monitor and update account statuses to ensure progress toward resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activity, including payment arrangements, disputes, and follow-up actions.
• Prepare and submit detailed collection activity reports to senior management.

The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• At least 4+ years experience in a Credit/ Collections role.
• A strong understanding of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
• You will be able to work independently and have confident and clear communication skills.
• Ability to drive change to improve performance.
