We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Logistics Officer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient procurement processes and logistics management within our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing and procurement of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing logistics operations to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities:
– Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas Suppliers.
– Evaluate quote to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the order and/or project.
– Advise internal and external on issue regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions.
– In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and follow up on purchase order delivery and shipment schedules.
– Manage all aspects related to shipment and supporting documents for custom clearance.
– Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specification and expectations of the company.
– Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with Suppliers.
– Register data to help maintain Customers and Suppliers Status of Accounts.
– Registration of incoming and outgoing project expenses and accurately attribute to expense nature and relevant projects.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and logistics within the IT Solutions industry or a similar sector.
– Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and logistics operations.
– Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers.
– Proficient in using procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
