Principal Ui Designer (Remote)

Duration: 6 Months+

Location: Denver, CO

Remote Is Possible, However Local Candidates Are Strongly Preferred

The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for detail, exceptional UI and visual design skills, and a passion for design systems.

Key Accountabilities/Duties:

• Lead the UI design effort for the most advanced technical users of a highly complex enterprise software platform
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive platform design system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of design and functionality
• Champion best practices in UI design and user experience
• Explore and implement innovative uses of generative AI tools in the design process

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UI design, with extensive experience with enterprise software
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma
• Strong visual design skills with a portfolio demonstrating a keen eye for detail
• Extensive experience with design systems and best practices
• Ability to articulate and defend design decisions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with or interest in generative AI tools for design
• SaaS application design background
• Understanding of best practices for designing for accessibility.
