Role Description:
As Impetus’ Field Marketing Manager for North America, you will be responsible for developing and executing demand generation event-based programs to drive customer awareness, engagement, and pipeline for Impetus’ industry-leading Data, GenAI, Cloud, and Analytics IT services and solutions. This highly visible role will be seen as a critical component of our GTM strategy and execution and will report directly to Impetus’ CMO.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales leaders to analyze, design, and develop customer event and engagement programs that map to our North American strategic accounts, partners, and target market segments.
- Help drive demand creation and lead generation activity in developing qualified sales leads and crafting visible brand awareness activities. Help manage the successful delivery of a broad range of events range including executive roundtables and dinners, joint partner events, and regional industry conferences.
- Closely collaborate with Impetus’ solution, product, and partner marketing teams to help develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns and events to drive top, middle and bottom of funnel pipeline.
- Collaborate with our web and graphic design staff and outside agencies to develop and deliver compelling digital and physical assets including signage, presentations, email copy and website pages to support of our demand generation, strategic customer, and industry conference events.
- Work in close collaboration with our global product and digital marketing teams to maximize interest, registration, and attendance leveraging tools such as content syndication, email, paid social media advertising (LinkedIn/Facebook), and direct mail.
- Provide campaign pre-launch content, training, and SFDC tagging information to our sales teams and follow-through after campaigns end to monitor marketing attribution and lead tracking and follow through.
- Analyze and draw actionable insights from marketing event and campaign data – to tell a credible marketing pipeline and closed / won revenue booking narrative as well as provide recommendations to maximize future program investment ROI.
- Serve as a steward of the Impetus brand and messaging at all events under your management.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in B2B technology field marketing. Experience in marketing enterprise software or services, enterprise AI, data platform modernization, data analytics, software development or cloud computing is a plus.
- A self-starter with demonstrated experience in developing and managing B2B enterprise software and services demand generation and customer campaigns and regional events.
- A results-driven, team player with a proven track record of success leading the field marketing function in a small to mid-size company with the ability to excel in a start-up like, dynamic environment.
- Experience working with leading enterprise software and/or service partners such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Slalom, Deloitte, Accenture, Informatica, OpenAI or Anthropic a plus
- Knowledge of contemporary digital marketing tactics and best practices
- Proficient in marketing automation and analytics applications such as SFDC CRM and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), Demandbase, Marketo, HubSpot.
- Experience developing and adopting messaging and content for data platform, SaaS or analytics software or service companies a plus.
