Program Manager (Remote)

Job Description

Summary:

The IT Program Manager will be responsible for leading and managing multiple programs/projects within the organization while providing oversight and guidance to project managers and cross-functional teams.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform intake of new requests/product support.
• Work with development teams to scope and prioritize program/projects.
• Manage program/project timelines.
• Attend day to day sprint ceremonies, assisting PO’s drive deliverables and escalate concerns when needed.
• Coordinate with external teams ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Develop and maintain detailed program/project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Provide guidance and direction to project managers and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage program/project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define program/project goals, objectives, and requirements.
• Report program/project status to senior leadership, including progress, risks, issues, and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the program/project management discipline.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

• Relevant work experience in technology with a broad understanding across multiple IT disciplines.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented and able to work independently as well as within a team and with internal business and technology partners including executive management.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience managing programs/projects in a complex, enterprise-level environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present different messaging across all project stakeholders including business and IT senior management, vendors and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in Mortgage Banking and/or associated lines of business is highly preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT program/project management.
• PMP certification is a plus.
