Lead Devops Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team, offering an exciting opportunity for remote work. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing Microsoft Azure-based solutions, ensuring the seamless integration and deployment of applications in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure-based infrastructure and services
• Architect and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software delivery process
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code practices using Bicep
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient application deployment
• Monitor system performance and reliability, implementing improvements as needed
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers, providing guidance and support
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in cloud environments
• Participate in technology evaluations and provide recommendations for adoption
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps processes and best practices

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure management
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Event Hubs, Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance, and Bicep
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in a cloud environment
• English B2+

Nice to have

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert are a plus
