- Maintaining infrastructure and hybrid cloud development and lifecycle standards supported by quality assurance processes in line with business and IMB security and information management requirements
- Delivering and implementing projects and changes to our infrastructure landscape
- Providing essential support to our production and non-production environments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Offering technical support and resolution to incidents and service requests
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the IT environment.
- Experience in Cloud engineering using Infra-as-code (preferably terraform), configuration management, and continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as GIT
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate, influence others, and create documents such as presentations and solution designs
- Familiarity and experience with core provider services from Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms, preferably having supported deployments on one or more of these platforms (professional level certifications advantageous)
- An understanding of distributed system design, network architecture, and dependency management
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred
- Willingness to participate in a rotating after-hours callout roster to provide timely support and service to a 24/7 retail bank.

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer with hybrid cloud experience to join our team in supporting our existing infrastructure and further shape the delivery of infrastructure systems and services to meet both business and customer needs.
