Roles and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
- Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies.
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities.
- Provide project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope Matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan).
- Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements Assess business process and system inefficiencies.
- Capturing the requirements through Pega DCO Functionality.
- Understanding to create the mock up screens through Pega Express.
- Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
- Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time and resources, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project life cycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions and resolving conflicts.
- Meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines Develop and execute test plans Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements.
- A good team player, able to demonstrate integrity and ownership.
- Able to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, busy environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A professional qualification relevant to the role & 5+ years for Business Analysis experience.
- Knowledge of Banking Domain or experience of consulting in a complex Financial Services organisation.
- Retail and Corporate Banking domain expertise would be an advantage.
- Should have good understanding in architecting omni channel solutions.
- Experience in defining requirements for multi locale solution (Arabic/English) would be an advantage.
- Should be well versed with micro service architecture and gathering requirements for a system with multiple integration touch points.
- Prioritise workload and balance/escalate conflicting demands in order to ensure agreed deadlines are achieved.
- Understanding the Asset management business and IPO process.
- Experience / knowledge within Financial Crime; namely AML, KYC, CLM, Client Money etc is preferable.
- Certified Business Architect in Pega.
- Experience of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and disciplines preferably within a multi-vendor environment.
- Experience of working in an Agile, Lean, Six Sigma environment would be desirable, as would exposure to technologies like Pega, Guidewire.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to build effective teams that leverage different skill-sets and perspectives.
- Is customer focused – able to see when the process is getting in the way of the customer experience.
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and team player.
- Minimum Bachelors degree is required, and masters degree is desirable.
