Yacht.Vacations is looking for experienced salespeople to join our growing team of international charter consultants. One of the biggest brokerages in the Caribbean, we are looking for passionate, motivated individuals to step into the role of charter consultant.

Our clients are some of the wealthiest individuals in the United States and are generally extremely friendly, easy to work with, and are looking to charter in both the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

This is a long-term, stable position. This role is remote working & commission only with all our consultants working as independent contractors. The commission structure is extremely high and paid in US Dollars. We are looking for stable candidates with excellent written and verbal skills, and great computer abilities.

Is this position for you?

• If you’re hungry to make money & provide excellent service while working remotely, this may be a perfect fit for you. If you take a few minutes between leaving a voicemail & contacting your next client, you probably aren’t going to be successful with us. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable with utilizing multiple platforms and applications at a time and is highly confident from a technology standpoint.
• This role is hard work, but when you reach someone that is interested in renting one of our yachts inbetween leaving voicemails, it’s very rewarding. We recommend you have enough funds for 3 months so that you can give yourself a proper chance. Top consultants will be closing deals from their first week, however some do take longer to get the flow of how to do this, so it’s important you have enough reserve funds to enable yourself to have the opportunity.

What does a normal day look like?

• Hours are US Eastern Time
• Log on at 8am EST, review & respond to emails & SMS messages
• Start calling clients from 9am EST, logoff at 6pm EST
• The goal is to achieve around 2 hours talktime each day, and it will take around 80 calls per day over 8 hours to connect with enough clients to achieve this to start.
• You will receive calls, emails & sms messages outside of hours from clients. As a commission only role you must respond to clients when they contact you both quickly & accurately.

The basics of the role

• Develop ongoing relationships with both new as well as existing clients created through our marketing.
• Provide an end-to-end service to the client from the first call to introduce yourself, to the moment they step off the yacht.
• Create a simple and seamless experience for the client from booking to embarking

Key Responsibilities

• Effective and timeous communication with clients and providers
• To build and maintain relationships with the client and be their one source for all things yachting.
• To build and maintain both your and the company’s relationship with the various Charter Agents
• Liaise with the Charter Agents for any information regarding the yacht of choice for the client.
• Take responsibility for all areas of the booking and the client’s experience by managing expectations.
• Complete agreements as well as invoices to facilitate the booking process.
• Effective CRM and administrative management
• Effective time and productivity management.

Role requirements:

• Must have a proven record of client engagement and relationship building
• Must have excellent written and communication skills
• Must have a high degree of computer literacy

Role Expectations

• You are expected to close a minimum of 4 clients per month.
• You need to always be available for a client to contact you.
• 2 hours total talktime or 80 calls per day. You need to dedicate full-time hours to this role. This isn’t a “side hustle”, or a part-time business that you can add to your portfolio of work.

Remuneration Expectations

• If you follow our steps & regularly book charters, you can have OTE of $72,000 USD and above.
