This business is a small, privately-owned and self licensed financial planning practice in Brunswick, Melbourne.  They pride themselves on offering a broad range of tailored advice to individuals, family groups, SMSF Trustees and small businesses owners.  Many existing client relationships span more than 15 years, therefore the Client Services/Associate is vital in maintaining and nurturing these relationships.  This role is available due to growth, not because of turnover.  This business has a very stable team.

This role is very diverse, some of your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Attending client appointments / presentations with the Senior Financial Planner (optional depending on your career aspirations)
• Lodging application for a variety of financial planning products inc BT and Macquarie
• Updating client information on Xplan and producing reports from Xplan
• Add file notes to Xplan
• Answering calls from clients regarding the management of their wealth portfolios
• Insurance implementation
• Managing annual reviews; getting client files ready for advisor meeting
• Write SOA requests and send them to an external paraplanner (optional depending on your career aspirations)
• Use Risk Researcher and Wealth Solver for product comparisons (optional)

To be successful in the role, you must have experience working in a professional financial planning business in a similar style role.  

This organisation is very well established and has a low number of clients, but a very high-touch service; quality over quantity.  Only candidates with excellent communication skills and attention to detail should apply.

If you are a career CSM or Associate, this can provide you with the security you require, with no pressure to become a planner.  The role can very easily develop into a Practice Manager position, if this is your chosen career path.
