Crypto Payments Product Manager (Remote)

Company Description

Wello is a cryptocurrency payments startup that has established a global fiat on/off ramp channel with various payment methods. It is now looking to scale to the next stage by developing a Web3 remittance business focused on stablecoins.

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced, high-impact Senior Product Manager with a minimum of 10 years in product management, ideally in the crypto, payments, or remittance sectors.

In this role, you will lead Wello’s product strategy and roadmap, driving the development and refinement of our platform. 

This position requires a deep understanding of frontend design principles, user experience, and the unique challenges of the crypto and remittance markets. 

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive Wello’s product strategy, aligning with our vision to make global remittance faster, cheaper, and more accessible.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to develop and refine features, ensuring an intuitive, user-centric experience.

• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration, with a strong focus on frontend design and user experience.

• Conduct competitive analysis and identify market trends to keep Wello ahead in the rapidly evolving crypto and remittance space.

• Develop key performance metrics to measure product success and inform strategic decisions, continuously optimizing for growth and user engagement.

• Serve as a thought leader and internal expert on crypto, payments, and remittance technologies, helping to educate and inspire the broader team.

Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years in product management, with a solid background in crypto, payments, or remittance solutions.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of frontend design and UX best practices, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in building user-friendly products.

• Crypto & FinTech Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of blockchain technology, crypto wallets, and the challenges of fiat-crypto integrations.

• Self-Motivated & Growth-Oriented: A proactive, driven personality with an appetite for success and fast growth in a startup environment.

• Analytical Skills: Proficient in product analytics, user feedback loops, and data-driven decision-making to continuously improve product performance.

• Global Perspective: Experience working on products that serve a global user base, with an understanding of cross-border payments and financial inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a CeDeFi or Web3 startup environment.

• Background in managing self-custodial or non-custodial crypto products.

• Familiarity with compliance and AML regulations in the crypto and remittance sectors.
