About the Role
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth for Inov8ive Transport & Logistics. The successful candidate will focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with major Australian freight clients, establishing strategic partnerships, and building solid relationships with key stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will collaborate closely with the broader Commercial team, including Marketing and Analytics, to develop and execute effective business development strategies that align with Inov8ive Transport & Logistics‘ objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow Inov8ive Transport & Logistics‘ customer base across Australia.
- Develop and implement impactful business development strategies that align with company and team objectives (OKRs) to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to craft compelling sales pitches, presentations, and proposals.
- Represent Inov8ive Transport & Logistics at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate new leads.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business partnerships.
- Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, sales pipelines, and progress towards objectives (OKRs).
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure a competitive edge.
