Reporting Manager Title: Manager, Project HSE
Purpose.
Provides project managers and their teams with information regarding HSE activities and guidance to promote an effective HSE program.
They are typically assigned to support small projects or support larger projects by leading a team of HSE professionals in the field.
Responsibilities.
- The position supports all project-related initiatives and individuals to eliminate hazards in the workplace that could cause property damage, injury, illness, or environmental damage.
- Operationally reports to the Project/Construction Manager on all operational and HSE program issues.
- Guide to promote an effective HSE program.
- Advise and instruct workers on the proper use of personal protective tools.
- Identify, report, and investigate causes of accidents and occupational diseases.
- Indicate the adoption of all health and safety measures that serve to prevent occupational hazards.
- Conduct training and education for workers.
- Accreditations.
- Implementation of the OHSMS
- Compliance with Worley’s and its customer’s corporate requirements, as well as local legal requirements regarding OHS.
- EECC Management
- Advise the employer to timely and conveniently inform all workers about the risks involved in their work, preventive measures, and correct working methods.
What will you bring??
You will have more than 8 years of experience in the position of mining projects leading HSE teams.
You should have experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning (mandatory).
Requirements of the position:
- Profession: Civil Engineer or Risk Prevention Engineer.
- Accreditations (Exclusive):
- Registration as a risk prevention expert.
- Sernageomin B
Conditions:
- Modality: Presential, directly in the project.
- Base or place of work: Antofagasta, Chile
- Shift system: 5×2 / 4×3
