Position Summary:

Our partner, a global leader in end-to-end IT solutions, is seeking a QA Engineer to join their tech team. In this role, you will support efficiency, security, and growth through innovative managed services. As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers to ensure quality throughout the application lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include tracking, analyzing, and executing test cases. You’ll also create and maintain detailed documentation, identify and report bugs, validate fixes, and conduct thorough regression testing. Additionally, you will develop test plans, refine test strategies, and ensure all processes meet quality standards. This role offers exciting challenges and requires managing multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Education:

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience/field
• 3+ years’ experience as manual QA engineer
• 3+ years of QA experience testing full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience designing, writing, and executing test plans

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project objectives and business requirements.
• Analyze and evaluate requirements, creating test scenarios to ensure maximum traceability and coverage.
• Participate actively in test planning, including risk analysis and identifying key test metrics.
• Contribute to the roadmap, guidelines, and strategies for both web and mobile application testing.
• Engage in the full software testing lifecycle, from planning through execution and closure.
• Conduct quality testing in both existing and new testing infrastructures, adapting test approaches as needed.
• Design and execute test cases for new and existing products and features.
• Document test cases thoroughly with clear steps, expected outcomes, and test data requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to establish testing protocols and workflows for new features as they are designed and developed.
• Conduct root cause analysis for failed tests, collaborating with development teams on resolution.
• Report and track bugs, providing detailed information to assist developers with resolution.
• Maintain regression test suites to ensure stability across releases.
• Interpret and transform business requirements into technical testing solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Participate in post-release verification and provide feedback to improve future release processes.
