We are an approved warehouse keeper of the London Metal Exchange (LME) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), and we provide warehousing and associated logistics and value-added service to traders, producers, financiers and consumers of non-ferrous and ferrous metals, ferroalloys and minor metals etc. Our worldwide offices and operations span across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe & Middle East, and the Americas.

Reports to the General Manager, Indonesia, the highly motivated individual will be responsible for handling the existing clients, build and maintain a strong relationship; developing additional revenue streams with the existing key clients and develop business opportunities from new leads.


Duties will include but not limiting to:

  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key customers and company.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • Developing a complete understanding of key account needs.
  • Anticipating key account changes and improvements.
  • Managing communications between existing customers and internal teams.
  • Working with commercial, operations and team members from other departments dedicated to the same customer account to ensure all customer needs are met.
  • Meeting all customer needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines.
  • Expanding relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Assist the Commercial department in the key accounts handling of quotations, P&L and contract management.
  • Contract Management to ensure that accepted quotations/contracts are updated in the company’s WMS system, filed and audit proof and monitor the validity of existing quotations/ contacts.
  • Account management to keep track of customer’s on-going business and review with the customer service manager and team leaders.
  • Review, update and analyse system data and other relevant company reports.
  • Research on market/commodity development to identify opportunity, key stakeholders to partner on market entry.
  • Increase Access World visibility and foothold in relevant markets including mining, metals and mineral, agricultural, oil & gas markets through key business events.

Potential candidates should possess the following attributes:

  • Minimum a college degree from an internationally recognised university.
  • Minimum 5 years of total working experience.
  • Strong builder of relationships with interest parties.
  • Proven ability to work on cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Team player who can immediately inject innovation and creativity to current sales model.
  • Business acumen coupled with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with an assertive and persuasive approach to work.
  • Possess organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise critical thinking.
  • Able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Experience in any of part of logistics business (mining/freight/warehousing/handling).
  • Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and proven sales success in previous role, ideally within the mining, EV battery plants, shipping & logistics industry.
  • Ability to travel to mining areas, e.g., Morowali, Weda etc., and other locations within the SEA region when required and on short notice.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin, and/or Indonesia/Malay to effectively interact with relevant counterparts.
  • Proficiency in computer software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
