Logistics Coordinator (Remote)

Job Description

– Coordinate and manage all import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements
– Prepare and maintain documentation related to import/export activities, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms
– Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods
– Monitor shipment status, address potential delays, and provide updates to internal stakeholders and customers
– Analyze shipping rates and negotiate contracts with freight carriers to optimize costs
– Identify areas for process improvement within the import/export operations
– Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations in shipping processes.

Personal Skills

– Experience from 0 to 2 years.
– Proven experience as import/export specialist or in a similar logistics role.
– Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
– Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

Technical Skills

– Experience on ACID / NAFEZA system.
– Well aware of customs requirements and documentation proficient in Excel and data analysis.
– Proficient in English language.
