Compensation: Annual base salary: $70-$80,000

Role Overview:
Our client in the wellness and beauty space are seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to lead the strategy, creation, and execution of content across multiple platforms. This role focuses on growing our online presence, driving engagement, and building a vibrant community aligned with our brand values in beauty, skincare, and family life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube to increase brand visibility, engagement, and growth.
- Content Creation: Produce and curate visually compelling, on-brand content (graphics, videos, and written copy) that connects with our audience; this can include faceless content if needed.
- Content Planning: Manage editorial calendars using tools like Asana or similar to ensure alignment with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
- Platform Management: Oversee the daily operations of social channels, maintaining a consistent brand presence and delivering timely, engaging posts.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, new platforms, and competitive activity to keep strategies innovative and relevant.
- Collaborative Content Development: Assist in preparing content briefs for creators, including the founder, ensuring high-quality and on-brand deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign execution.
- Community Engagement: Actively interact with followers, responding to comments and messages to foster conversations around core themes like beauty, skincare, and family life.
- Performance Analytics: Track and analyze social media metrics, using data to refine strategies and report results to optimize growth and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing social media for brands, preferably in DTC ecommerce organizations or B2C brands.
- Industry Passion: Deep an interest and passion about our brand to execute.
- Platform Expertise: Proven experience managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. Familiarity with affiliate management tools and TikTok Shop is a plus.
- Content Creation Skills: Skilled in graphic design, photography, and video editing using tools like Canva and other creative apps; familiarity with AI-based tools is a bonus.
- Organizational Tools: Experience using platforms like Asana or Trello for content planning and campaign alignment.
- Content Briefing: Ability to create detailed and clear content briefs for collaborative projects.
- Camera Comfort: Confident both behind and in front of the camera when needed.
- Communication: Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to maintaining consistent brand messaging.
- Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy and consistency in all audience-facing materials, including spelling and grammar.
- Self-Starter: Creative, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
