Full Stack Web Developer (Remote)

**This is a WFH Role BUT we ONLY hire Manila-based Contractors** 

Are you a full stack developer who loves to be challenged and learn new skills? 

If you are, then this may be the role which excites you. 

You’ll work with the Marketing team to redesign our existing (Maropost) website and then to identify the right platform for our future website and lead the transition to that platform. 

We believe Shopify will probably be our next home, but we’re open to ideas. 

In the meantime, we also have some other website & app projects in the pipeline, to ensure you stay engaged and challenged. 

Key responsibilities:  

• Execute front-end and theme-based enhancements to our current webstore hosted in Neto (Maropost)  
• Implement and supervise the technical and UI aspects of our migration to Shopify (or other selected platform) 
• Configure integrations to make Shopify work with our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system  
• Set up product feeds from Shopify to Google Merchant Center Next  
• Test, troubleshoot and optimize core functions and features at all online channels   

Qualifications:  

Can implement front-end and back-end development requirements specific to shopping cart software  

Can make our ERP and Shopify “work together”  

Can set up “sandbox” instances to beta-test new functions and features  

Can configure and manage API integrations and GA4 / GTM custom tags  

Has solid working knowledge of Shopify Liquid  

Nice to have:  

Experience in implementing Google tags to track various custom events in an e-commerce setting  

Sound understanding of CRO, technical SEO and UI principles  

As this is a still a relatively small business, you’ll also become the default IT expert in the business, so will be a resource for other projects, which could include things such as building apps, configuring Microsoft products, developers web scraping scripts, developing PunchOut Catalogs from our ERP to customer ERPs, etc.
