Aws Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer with Golang and AppSync expertise to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing a cutting-edge infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration of a subset of systems. You will play a pivotal role in supporting a Native App team and a backend team, helping them overcome key challenges in implementing AWS AppSync and enabling them to accelerate their progress.

The initial engagement is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure, with a focus on AppSync and serverless architecture.
• Develop and integrate backend services using Golang, aligned with best practices for scalable and reliable applications.
• Leverage Terraform to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management.
• Collaborate with the Native App Team to implement and optimize AWS AppSync APIs for seamless backend integration.
• Troubleshoot and address bottlenecks, providing mentorship and knowledge transfer to the internal team.
• Monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of the cloud infrastructure.
• Document solutions and share best practices to ensure long-term team success.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing and managing AWS infrastructure, with expertise in AppSync, VPCs, and serverless services.
• Strong proficiency in Golang for backend development.
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, cloud architecture, and security best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
