Senior Product Manager (Remote)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our client’s IT team. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the development and enhancement of our client’s internal projects. You will collaborate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and other cross-functional partners to lead product development, status reporting, planning, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define product vision, and prioritize features.
• Team Leadership: Collaborate with different engineering teams (Backend: Java, Python, NodeJS; Frontend: React) to deliver high-quality products.
• Planning & Roadmapping: Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of product milestones.
• Status Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on project status, milestones, and any potential risks.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• User Feedback: Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product decisions and improvements.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and inform product strategy.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user guides.
• Agile Practices: Promote and implement agile methodologies to improve product development processes and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of product management experience, preferably within the retail or technology sectors.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), backend technologies (Java, Python, NodeJS), and frontend frameworks (React).
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
• Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including risk management and status reporting.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Customer Focus: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
